Owens Peak can be reached from the Los Angeles area by taking either Highway 14 north or from the San Bernadino area by taking Highway 395 north. Turn north on a dirt road just past the Indian Wells Valley brewery near the where Highways 14 and 395 meet. The trailhead is at the end of the dirt road.

Indian Wells Valley trail


The Indian Wells Valley trail leads most of the way to the top. There is a short amount of class 2 cross country travel mixed with a rough use trail.
