Signal Peak

Signal Peak (4877 ft / 1487 m) is located in the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge south of the town of Quartzite, Arizona. Signal Peak and the surrounding mountains are very rugged mountains that rise sharply from the desert plain. The Wilderness Area is named after the King OF Arizona (KOFA) mine established in early 1900's. The area has one of most prolific desert big horn herds (600-800 in number).
