University Peak

University Peak (13,632 ft / 4155 m) is located in the Kearsarge Pass area out of Onion Valley. The easiest route is class 2 via University Col. Alexander Smirnoff and I climbed it via a class 3 variation. After heading up past Robinson Lake we continued towards University Col but turned north before reaching it. This led to the East Ridge and a scramble to the top. We descended via University Col, surfing down the loose scree.

Rockfall on University Peak

Caused by a few large rocks coming down, this occurred in the chute where the south and east ridges join.
