Great Wall at Jiankou

Great Wall at Jiankou

Photos from the Great Wall (Picasa album)

Jiankou is a very rugged and section of the Great WallI and relatively undeveloped to Tourism. I went hiking at there with my good friend and avid hikder Zhang Qi and our workmate Han Meng. We caught the train out there on Friday night from Beijing North Station and stayed at a guest house in a village near Jian Kou. We climbed along the wall from Jiankou to Beijing Jie, where the three forks of the wall join together. This rugged hike is not recommended for those scared of heights.
